How should I clean my mouth while wearing braces?
For the best care of your teeth during treatment, always follow the advice of our orthodontist and our professional team of hygienists. In any case, you should brush your teeth with soft brushes and pass them between the braces and the teeth following the techniques that we explain to you in the consultation with the dentist.
Whether you have fixed braces (brackets) or clear aligners, it is very important that you clean them after every meal and floss at least once a day.
Foods and drinks with sugar and carbonated beverages damage your gums and teeth. Be careful with hard and sticky foods, as they can damage your appliance.
Will it hurt?
In general, these treatments are not usually painful. When you first get your braces, and each time a new adjustment is made, it is normal to feel a little discomfort. After all, you have just had a new appliance put in your mouth that is trying to reposition your teeth.
Do I have to have any teeth pulled to make room?
